September 2014

It's been a fantastic summer and we would like to thank all of you who came to support us, we really do appreciate it and we love talking to you. Those of you who see us often will have noticed that Craig has now left us to pursue other projects and we have been gigging with guest bass players for the time being, including the exceptional Tom, whom we would like to thank. He has coped admirably at being thrown in at the deep end. STAR!

JOHNNY WINTER       February 23rd 1944 - July 16th 2014

The Herbaceous Borders would like to express their heartfelt sadness and deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Johnny who was, and will always remain a blues legend. He was a major inspiration and influence on the guitar playing style of our own Stu Henri, who is deeply saddened by the news of the loss of his hero. The legend that is Johnny Winter will live on in the hearts and minds of all those around the world that love him and the life of blues will live on, far greater because of his talent and contribution.
