Herbie is the charismatic frontman of the band and founding member. A multi talented musician and songwriter with an incredible ability to write outstanding lyrics. He has a wide vocal range, the resonance of which is breathtakingly stunning, stirring the soul, warming the heart, lighting the room.

Stu is the 'dark side' of the band, also multi talented. His talents with a guitar are legendary, his "ability on bottleneck slide is a tour de force" being just one of the quotes printed about him. MARK NICHOLSON - bass guitar
 

Mark has recently joined the band and brings with him a diverse musical background, drawing from his experience as a keyboard player with various jazz and blues bands around the Midlands. His bass playing provides a solid and grooving foundation on which the rest of the band can lean on. He also enjoys writing and producing his own music when not playing gigs with The Herbaceous Borders.
